What Struggle is this???

So, This time its Mumbai, attacked again and we all have a topic to talk about with all the pangs and emotions, I was just wondering how long will this discussion last, my previous experience says 5 days…that’s the max, and then we will all again get back completely to our usual gossip and wait for yet another Breaking news…I know this might be hurting many of us but we all, including me, are like this and that’s what life has made us.

First it was Indian Mujahedeen and now its Deccan Mujahedeen, these things made me wonder what the hell this word Mujahedeen means and you all would be shocked in knowing what it actually means. Well, this is what Wiki says about this terror word:

“A Mujahid(Arabic مجاهد, muǧāhid, literally "struggler") is a Muslim involved in a jihad, who is fighting in a war or involved in any other struggle.[1] The plural is Mujahideen[2] (Arabic: مجاهدين‎, muǧāhidīn). The word is from the same Arabic triliteral as jihad ("struggle"). In Islamic scripture, the mujahid contrasts with the qaid, one who does not join the jihad.
Mujahideen is also transliterated from Arabic as Mujahedin, mujahedeen, mujahedīn, mujahidīn, mujaheddīn, and variants.”

If this is a struggle, then bloody hell, what kinda struggle is this? Can anyone think of any reason of this kind of terror trail which is being wrongly named under ‘struggle’? Struggle to me is something which is done for a cause which positively affects the lives of a large audience. Killing over 100 innocent people out of no reason, is that what these young spoilt minds call struggle. I think all the people behind this so called Mujahedeen gang are a coordinated group spoilt by some coordinators who instills in them a psyche of menace. These minds are so depraved and cracked up that they are driven by the immature feeling of killing innocent human beings. Their mind can be compared to a kid’s mind who enjoy killing terrorists while playing computer games like Counter Strike, Half Life etc. I don’t know but this is the most insane thing happened ever…

Also, the kind of jolt these attacks are have always given us are tremendously sad, first we lost our top cop in Delhi Shootout and now we lost other top ATS cops and many more. We all should definitely salute these Shaheed’s of nation, I salute you from the bottom of my heart…you walked the talk…you lead by example, but all I wanted was to see you alive. I wanted you to plan this in a such a way so that you act as a mastermind against their mastermind. You have an effective young and brave team of cops just like you who could swamp all the terrorists with the valor like yours and emerge out winners where the at least our country doesn’t lose the most efficient of its cops which may lead the misnomer Mujahedeen celebrate in their own way the death of peace…

I wish this is not a new different style of terror attacks where the targets are the top brass, foreign tourists and many others staying in luxury hotels being hostage, mercilessly shot down creating such an unanticipated chaos and spilling the sad and gory pictures everywhere…

I know I who is just writing a blog sitting on my comp can’t actually decide the way-out from all these chaotic situations which are happening every now and then in our country, but I can at least ask you all the solution to come out of this terror trail.

The first one comes from my side only. Firstly, we should start respecting and believing in the police force of the country and instill our confidence in them so that they are charged up and ready to fight any situations. The can become valiant and cautious at the same only with our appropriate support. We all are young and we have to have the eye and poise to trace out wrong or suspicious movements happening somewhere in very close proximities of some of us. We should take the initiative of being the informers of the nation. We might go wrong at one or two places, but I’m sure we will be right one day and that day we will surely be saving lot of lives and grace for the nation. We are the only ones who can catch them young and nip in the bud.

Another way of winning this war is to let the terrorists inane purpose of these attacks defeated by not showing and sensationalizing this chaos, but keep living and spreading happiness everywhere we can. Their purpose though no one knows about it but might be to spoil the regular peaceful lives of ours and we can deter their purpose only by continuing our daily peaceful lives as we always do, in fact spreading more happiness in the world we live in.

Was talking to one of my mumbaikar friend and she said eloquently that Mumbai never stops…everyone is back in action as if nothing had happened…Kudos to her…and all the mumbaikars…I am with you…the entire country should stand up together to fight this attack..Let us all be brave…Let us kill the terrorists purpose by showing the true spirit of being an Indian…Lets be unfazed…Lets be calm…Lets keep smiling…Lets keep winning…

PS: I was kinda disturbed, I don’t know why, may be coz of this entire mayhem in Mumbai…but I might be feeling better after writing this blog…I don’t know why that too? But, I am still waiting for some young ideas which we can contribute to the nation to stop these serial terror attacks being edged upon our wonderful nation…so think if you can…!

Hey,I 101% agree with you. We all need to stand up to go against these criminals. We need to understand that its no time for blame game.
We are young people who can actually help these old politicians to be afraid of us so much that they have to take steps to secure us.
Its so true that Mumbaikars never stop. And I real feel proud of it. Would I had been in other city, I doubt people would be so brave. I see people going back to work and be level headed even after so much ciaos.
Do you know, our cable guy was asked to block all the news channel. The reason that they were making things much more hazardous by showing each and every move of the Army officials. Media was not supporting police officers but was becoming a loophole in solving this whole problem.
I know that government officials are to be blamed for Investigation bureau failed to know even a hint of such an attack.
Still, theres a lot we can do to help our country.
We all stand together to throw such nasty people out of our country forever.

I second all your thoughts..theres so much we all are capable of doing..if only we can stand up for what we believe in..to eradicate this terror, bloodshet, madness, from the very face of this earth.
There is so much we can do. Even though we are not a part of this system,we elect this system,so much money is spent in the name of defence..and security..and what happens to it?
We need to stand together..and fight it...to remove it from where it started..."the root"
theres so much disgust inside me now..and theres so much i want to say...
At this moment all I want is to take each one of those insane jerks ,put them in a pit..and burn them with their families too..to make them realise how much it hurts when they kill so many innocents..and how it feels when a father loses his son,a wife her husband,a fiance, her husband to be,a mother her young son...and so on and so forth...
I salute you...the brave soldiers..i salute u for saving us time and again..and not bothering for ur your own lives...

@ Guppi:
Guppi, I appreciate ur spirit in saying that Mumbaikar's are resilient, but over the weekend, listening to so many debates and reading so many articles, I am afraid tht mumbai is breakin apart...people r saying ENUF is ENUF and tht is right...

How can the mumbaikars stand so many perils every now and then and in the name of this resilience they hav been party to the worst and most heinous acts over the history...

Lets stop being what we were...its time to change...and its time to bring the much needed change...

The country is with you...so lets think of changing...and I am asking looking for points which can bring abt this positive change...

@ Richa:
I think you are getting emotional and I appreciate to what you hav written...
But at the same time, i want to suggest, we have shown a lot of emotions, we have wasted a lot of tears...this is a moment when I want to see anger...no more crying abt...

Today its mumbai, tomorrow it can be our city, hence, what is it that needs to change...and here I am looking for concrete steps which are achievable and which promise and act as deterance for those crooks and suckers of innocent lives...

While you have mentioned a important thing..I'd like to add the importance of the compulsory mil training like they have in other nations...

It is needed more in a country like India....with so many different people.. culture... you know they army way of places of worship ... one room and together are kept the various symbols and pics of gods with a national flag on top...
dunno why but I think this really will help the general public think together as a nation... rather than petty differences cropping up.. just my opinion...

@ TheArmyGuy:

U have given two very apt suggestions:
1. Military training
2. Collaborative worship places

I would say both of ur ideas are reely the need of the country at the moment...infact the military training shud b made cumpolsory for all in the high school so that we are prepared for the worst times like mumbai blasts...
N not only tht the citizens i.e. we shud learn many more things from the army.

Another suggestion is to have 100% voting turnout in the country this time, we shud all vote for the one we feel has the "Yes We Can" gut.

Also, we shud start questioning the politicians and keep them on their toes by asking them the progress report and output of their so many policies the make.

Whats ur take on bringing a tough law against terrorists which make them deter against such heinous acts of terror?
